Varieties of sushi, some dim sum, fresh fish meat mussels (to be cooked to your choice of cooking sauce), sweet delicacies and ice cream....Advisable to make a reservation during weekends, it can be quite crowded even on weekdays!

The restaurant... read more Mr Cherng was found through Google and Trip Advisor and it was well worth the visit. Located fairly centrally in the inner city and easy to find. The restaurant is very popular and it was my impression that it is stuffed with people at...all times families and larger parties seems to be the norm. To me, it was a bit nostalgic as the talk and noise level reminded me of going out for food in Shanghai and eating at a popular restaurant tons of people talking, laughing and having a good time. The food is buffet with divided into two sections food that was fried and ready to eat and food where you mixed meat and vegetables and let the cook fry it up in a number of different ways (i can recommend the garlic option) in addition to this a HUGE dessert section with ice cream, cakes, fruit and also a very fine Sushi section (pay extra for this option). Food was good quality, the service friendly and we left feeling full and in good mood.
