Anja 's Mega Croque is one of those gems in Winterhude. In business for decades, you can feel the dedication the lovely ladies have poured into their place, from the modest dining area to the handwritten descriptions on the wall. Even by American standards, the sandwiches were large (somewhere in the 10-12 inch range) and filled with enough meats, cheese, vegetables and sauce (their garlic sauce added that chef 's kiss to my sandwich) to be satisfying. Value for the money was easily achieved. So if you happen to find yourself near the Goldbekplatz bus stop in Winterhude and craving a tasty sandwich, stop into Anja 's Mega Croque!
