The food is frozen, deep-fried, and other convenience foods. Horrible. The waiter was super friendly. Good for a beer, but not the food.
Great atmosphere lousy service. The waitress clearly didn't enjoy her job at all. We were ignored several times when we tried to order something. An hour before closing time, the lights were turned off in parts of the store – unfortunately, in the part where the stairs lead to the restroom. Really uncool.
On my first visit, I thought the schnitzel was a disguised potholder and the fried potatoes were more likely to be an oil well. At least the restroom was spotless. Now, on my second visit: surprise! The food was really decent – and the restrooms have confidently defended their reputation as a cleanliness highlight. Conclusion: In a pinch, you can go to the Maybach in Eimsbüttel after all – you won 't have to starve there. Here 's the first review: The food was really bad, especially the fried potatoes and the schnitzel were a complete disaster. The schnitzel tasted like a warmed-up potholder, and the fried potatoes were 70% oil. The restrooms, on the other hand, were clean.
Worst service in Hamburg! When we wanted to sit down at a table, the waiter said it was reserved for football fans to watch. But there was no reservation sign on the table. OK, then we chose another table. The menu came quite quickly. We then waited for 9 minutes, even though the restaurant was barely full by then. I then went into the restaurant and saw the waiter chatting with a customer and said to me that he was just on his way. Back at the table, waited another 2 minutes. When I wanted to place my order the waiter said, Food is only available from 2 p.m. . I felt pretty silly and left with my wife.
