This is not your usual greasy spoon: On our visit we were really hungry and I had the gourmet burger with chips while my husband opted for the double burger. You could hear the beef pattiessizzling in the pan and both dishes were served within minutes. I had ordered mine medium and I must say it was perfect: freshly ground beef, a handmade patty, topped with the freshest of salads and cheese. The bun was expertly toasted to just the right consistence: It didn't turn soggy during the course of the meal and was very appetising. Belgian chips were very good, too. They should work on the drinks menu, though. Service was great.

Very simple and laid-back place for a quick stop, for those who have virtually no time for lunch.The burger is homemade and simply great, succulent - it always comes with fries, which also taste good!They do have a combo with a drink, everything always below 10 euros!There is a choice of a couple of Thai dishes, but mine wasn't that nice, the vegetables were overcooked. There's a lot of rice, the sauce is very tasty and there is way more meat than in most Thai restaurants in Hamburg for less money!

The burgers at Hensel are quite good - not the best I've ever had, but quite good. I usually order them for take out, because, let's face it: The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is not really great. I love their Belgian French Fries. Recently you can order online, as well (I just did yesterday with Deliveroo)
