Friendliness and attentiveness cost nothing but go a long way. Now, let's talk about the experience of going to the restroom... You can get to the stairs leading into the Hamburg Dungeon remarkably quickly on the greasy, sticky floor. I've rarely seen cardboard boxes arranged so carelessly. Note... Please wipe your feet at the exit. Keep Hamburg clean!

After abou... read more Unfortunately, I can 't comment on the food/drinks because we didn 't even get to that point. We (my parents, baby, and I) sat down at a small table. After about 10 minutes, the waitress (a woman with short gray hair) came and, without saying or asking anything beforehand, abruptly adjusted the chair (where my mother was sitting) so we wouldn 't be in the way, as she put it... completely intrusive. When we ordered our three cappuccinos and fish sandwiches, she groaned and said, Oh, that much! You should be glad I didn 't put you on the bench; it 's self-service... So we left. We went to the place right next door. There, we got a SUPER delicious fish sandwich and drinks. Dear tourists, avoid this place. Unfriendly service, and the sandwiches next door are probably even better! This woman shouldn 't be representing Hamburg, the harbor, or our fish sandwiches. We, as Hamburgers, are ashamed of such a shop/service!

We asked for advice on-site and got the impression that they were more interested in making a quick sale than in genuine hospitality. The food was reminiscent of a basic cafeteria – the fish was clearly from the freezer and cooked in far too much oil. The mashed potatoes were tasteless and seemed to have been prepared without any care. The ambiance was also uninviting and unfortunately matched the overall impression: uninviting and disappointing. What's particularly annoying is that the price was completely exorbitant for this quality. The value for money is simply not there. Definitely not recommended by us.
