Between th... read more We had planned to eat somewhere else but ended up in this small restaurant. There is nothing fancy about it but it has a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Between the 4 of us two had fresh fried green herrings, one had a sole and one had moonfish. The moonfish came with boiled potatoes and a mango salsa. The fish was excellent. The other three dishes came with fried potatoes and a pile of bacon on top of the herring. For me personally it was too salty and too greasy. The guys were happy with their fried potatoes and didn’t share my concerns. A nice fresh garden salad was also served with each meal. Overall opinion: good meal but nothing spectacular. Good value for money though!

Definately fish - it's an option to have a full dinner or just a snack (best receipt of the herring in Hamburg to my mind!)... goes well together with true Hamburger beer!

It's not nice, but it's not original. The greeting by the cartridge is all the more charming. A waiting period can also be expected at the weekend at noon. If you could get a seat, you can look forward to rewarding delicious fish dishes, which, as the name says, is the focus in the local area. In the map you can also find a page with very interesting daily dishes. We chose salmon roulade with rice and salmon medallions with green cabbage and roast potatoes. This may seem unusual at first glance, but tastes excellent and is super freshly prepared. The map also offers a beautiful selection of wines that can certainly all fit perfectly to the appropriate dish. The waiting time for the food was pleasantly short despite the fully occupied place. The staff as well as the cartridge also gave the impression that they are well-being. Despite fullness, no one loses serenity. Very good fish, what do you want more?

Got salmon as a starter which was okay and the filet of beef with a mustard pepper sauce which was pretty good. The sauce was lovely. They do serve great beers from Germany's very north. Staff was a bit stressed as the restaurant was super busy, but they were in control and did the job. Three stars from me, everything else was happy so wth, give it four stars. Oh yes, got ice cream with alcoholic eggnog afterwards. Yum!
