this restaurant is a sweetness for hamburg. the food and service are under all conditions. in this load it is cold and uncomfortable. the meat tastes disgusting and the service is cruel. the windows are so fancy that we had to sit inside with a jacket. an ignorance that there can be something like that at all. What a gem for a homesick Aussie. Best a VB has ever tasted. Staff were awesome. Works burger fell apart like all good aussie burgers should.
We went last night as a farewell get together for my Australian friend. We had to wait almost 2 hours for the food. Then the orders were mixed up and we were still missing parts of our order after halfway finishing the meal. They also made us pay for parts of the food we didn’t get. The waiters made the impression to be very annoyed by our table (understandable but clearly not our fault). The food was quite disappointing, very average and not served nicely. The drinks were ok.
You know you are in the right place the moment you enter. Atmosphere is great, music excellent, stuff very friendly, and food delicious. Prices are very approachable.
1 star for the decor of the bar 1 star for the novelty of different flavours wings But that's it I'm afraid. The bar doesn't take visa or MasterCard debit cards or credit cards. Something which they don't tell you till after you get the bill. The chicken wings were actually really dry and not that enjoyable. The service was sooooo slow! I will not go there again.
It's a really fun place. Being an Australian bar, the waiters speak English. Monday nights are quiz night and can be incredibly fun. Give that a go. The waga waga wings are actually spicy. Like Indian level spicy. Totally worth it. The fries are alright. The cider is also pretty good. Overall, great ambience and worth a visit. :
