Friendly service. Weekdays they have a lunchtime menu that is superb value, around euros (my plate of fish with salad and potatoes is pictured). The second visit was the next day, a Saturday so no lunchtime menu. Paid the same as I didn't have...a drink, super-filling and excellent spicy pasta. But the fish was the star, fresh, refreshibg, with a salas that was superblt dressed. Friendly staff who speak English. My w... View all feedback.
What Vince Kulas doesn't like about Ciao Mamma!:
The coffee, beer and pizza were ok albeit a bit pricy. What really busted me was that they charged me eur for an empty little plate that I requested to share my pizza with my wife. All in all it would have been ok...if they were not so greedy!!! View all feedback.

Couldn't read a thing, all in German, cold and starving. The old man and the lady are helpful. Not sure which item i ordered or they specially made it for me, just supposingly had the fish pasta on the menu, but i chose with mixed...seafood too, so it become a great dish. No super cheap, that pasta with a ginger ale cost me euro (as they don't think about giving you back the change at all). Good view to the elbphilharmonie, if you want to find hot food nearby it's the place.
We ordered a pizza for snack, while walking on neighborhood. The waiter served us as we would not pay. And the pizza was nothing else as ordinary.
We were in the area to go to the Miniatur Wunderland but had time before our reservation to get some food. There are not many restaurants in this area so Ciao Mamma was a lucky find. They have outdoor dining so we had a very...pleasant meal outside. Service was good and the pizza very tasty. It was perfect for what we wanted.
