You expect a great restaurant with g... read more It was supposed to be a surprise, but unfortunately, the surprise didn't work out. I booked the restaurant for our musical. You expect a great restaurant with good food. Food: Most of the food wasn't homemade. The appetizer plate: It felt like a hodgepodge of several pre-packaged supermarket products. The main course: A carelessly prepared burger with a pile of dry fried potato wedges. The dessert: A store-bought chocolate cake with some kind of horrible homemade lemon drink and a cream with blueberry and raspberry muesli. The service: The staff tried very hard and were very friendly. When the restaurant was full, they were a bit overwhelmed at times, but that wasn't a big deal. The ambiance: The decor was OK. What was much worse was that the guests sitting at the table and those just sipping drinks at the bar before the musical were in the same room. The noise level was unbearable. Conclusion: For a restaurant in a musical, I expect a bit more. Even though the price was okay, I wouldn't book it again and would rather go to one of the great restaurants outside.
