I wish Panter was closer to where I live. It's one of the coolest cafes in Hamburg, but I never go here because it's a bit out of the way for me. The menu is a little bit limited, but what they offer they do well. For breakfast there is a selection of omelets and later the menu reverts to being just soup, salad, pasta or paninis. They also have a yummy-looking range of cakes.
What a nice little cafe! only 20 minutes walk from my house in Grindel, this cafe bar brunch cake snack place serves nice omelets and yummy Tazza d'Oro coffee. I was surprised at how friendly the service was here and the prices were well decent a breakfast and two cups of coffee for 8eu is more than a fair deal. This cafe (and Karolinenviertel in general) reminds me of Berlin. I really don't come to the area as often as I should.
