This charming hotel has a welcoming atmosphere. The manager/owner is always present. The staff is very friendly and provides excellent service in the restaurant. Our meal was delicious. We finished with a glass of wine by a cozy log fire.
The restaurant was busy, but the service was still good. It was New Year's Eve and very crowded. There were plenty of bar staff, so everything ran smoothly.
The hotel in the charming village north of York is delightful, and the food is top-notch as well.
Spent a night away there loved it excellent range of beers and ciders on tap room was nice maybe a lick of paint needed but very clean and one of the best nights sleep I've had away from home the food was amazing and lastly the breakfast was perfect
Fantastic Picturesque Wolds location with this wonderful Cosy hotel on Market SQ. Service beyond and Manager more than helpful on our two visits. Sirloin Roast Lunch to die for... I think a lot of Restaurant/Hotels have forgotten how to cook a roast dinner so this was a bit special. Regards to staff at Bar Restaurant staff and Management.
