However, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. They offer a specials menu for lunch and occasional special taster menus. It's a lovely establishment.

My friend had to se... read more I came to the restaurant for afternoon tea using a Groupon voucher. We had made a reservation but upon arrival, there was no staff in sight. My friend had to search the restaurant to find someone to serve us. The employee who finally served us mentioned that because it was the last day to use the voucher, it may not process despite it still being valid and us having made a reservation. We asked for sparkling wine to accompany the afternoon tea and were also offered some water, both of which were lovely and refreshing. However, when the afternoon tea was brought to us, we were not informed about the sandwich fillings or the dessert options. We had to request side plates and were not even given spoons to eat the potted dessert (we were not informed about what it was). The afternoon tea included three finger sandwiches, two cakes each, a scone each, and a mysterious dessert. The sandwiches were decent and tasty. The first cake we tried was clearly stale and very hard, making it inedible. The second cake, a black forest gateau, was quite tasty, as was the mysterious potted dessert. Unfortunately, during our meal, no one came to check on us to see how things were or if we wanted more drinks. It felt like since we had already paid using Groupon, we were not treated as important customers in need of care. It was disappointing as we would have been happy to order more drinks if asked. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
