Caffè Nero on High Street in Northallerton has garnered mixed reviews in recent visits. While some patrons praised its dog-friendly environment, welcoming staff, and the high quality of its coffee and pastries, others reported poor service and unfortunate mix-ups with orders. Complaints included running out of ice, weak beverages, and rude interactions from staff, which contributed to dissatisfaction. However, a number of regular visitors cherished the cleanliness of the premises, efficient service, and delightful offerings, suggesting that the establishment continues to maintain a loyal customer base despite occasional hiccups. Was haylingseagoon at Caffe Nero a mag?
It is always a pleasure to return to Northallerton, not only for the Joe Cornish Gallery (see separate review), but also for the great experience at Caffè Nero on High Street. There were short queues, good service, and delicious Cortado made with premium Peruvian coffee. The Cappuccino with Soya Milk was also excellent. We also enjoyed two of the freshest Pain au Chocolat we have ever tasted. It was refreshing to see... View all feedback.

What Louise P dislikes about Caffe Nero:
I went to the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon in May for a cold drink. Unfortunately, they had run out of ice and were unable to make or obtain more. I left without a drink and probably won't be coming back. View all feedback.

We visit Northallerton a couple of times a month and always stop by this restaurant for coffee. It is conveniently located on the charming High Street and the window seats offer a great view of the town center. The spacious premises are well-maintained and kept very clean. The staff, who appear to have been there for a while, provide friendly and efficient service. It is always a pleasure to visit.

Visited today for a takeaway drink. The very friendly and efficient service stood out today, hence the review. It had been so difficult for staff during the pandemic, but it is so lovely to see a friendly face, genuinely wanting to give good service. The 2 staff serving this afternoon were just lovely. Thank you!

The visited started well, our little dog was welcome. Being vegetarian we were delighted to see a veggie sausage roll. My wife ordered one. It arrived at our table in a brown paper bag, on opening it this was not what we ordered. My wife went to take it back and seeing the guy who served her commented that this was the wrong item before continuing to the counter. The guy then turned to a nearby table and said she asked for a chorizo parcel . Being veggie that was quite simply a lie. When challenged about why he complained about our perfecyly polite complaint he insisted that he had been expressing concern about the signage. Again, quite simply untrue. We won 't go there again!
