We celebrated our Anniversary at this restaurant and ordered the chateaubriand. It was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Although it was a bit more expensive, it was definitely worth it. The village itself is very pretty and I would highly recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
What JohnS doesn't like about The Carpenters Arms:
I went with friends to this restaurant. The risotto was served cold, watery, and lacked flavor. The fish and chips did not meet their usual standard. It was unclear what type of fish was used, but the texture was unpleasant. View all feedback.
Really nice friendly pub, for lunch or dinnerown ample car park. has a charm all of its own, dark wood interior, cosy bench style seating areas.
It was our jubilee and we had this closed and it was beautiful, cooked to perfection, a little more expensive but worth it. very nice village and would highly recommend m.
Excellent restaurant in a beautiful location. very good selection of food on the menu resonance prices. would definitely be back for another pleasant meal
Just fair because we had the Yorkshire plate, it was all kicked. not a sweet, only a potato fritter (can be somewhere cheese,) two crab cakes again not very delicious, a very small fish goujon in the teig with a small part of chips, and a deep roasted scotchei. none of them was great, and was served with four pots of Mayo/Cutney to give him a taste.
I have friends. the risotto was cold, watery and tasteless. the fish and chips were not on their normal standard. does not know what fish it was, but the texture was not beautiful. ,
