When we returned, we decided to grab a pizza... read more During our short break in Crayke, we visited York's Christmas Market and parked in Easingwold before taking a bus. When we returned, we decided to grab a pizza from Barbe Q for our early dinner. It was incredibly delicious. We ordered two 10-inch pizzas with our preferred toppings, as well as a side of wedges. We quickly popped into The Angel for a drink while we waited, and picked up our order within half an hour. The service was excellent and the food was of very good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you.

The chicken burger was a pre-made chicken fillet burger that you can find in any supermarket, and there was no option to purchase burger sauce for the fries. All of our local kebab shops have fresh chicken fillets as a standard, so maybe we have been spoiled. I was a bit disappointed.

Try the new kebab shop its miles better. You need shutting down.

As it had been a while since we’d had... read more As Teessiders visiting this beautiful part of Yorkshire we were pleasantly surprised to find a takeaway the sold Parmo’s! As it had been a while since we’d had one we thought we’d order one and a mushroom pizza with a couple of tubs of garlic sauce. Upon opening the boxes we collected we were very disappointed with the meal in front of us. The Parmesan was made up of 1/4 inch thick chicken at best, no béchamel sauce, and very little breadcrumbs and cheese! Awful Parmo. The mushroom Pisa was over cooked, burned around the edges and the garlic tasted like natural yoghurt mixed with raw garlic. The whole order cost nearly £18 which is pretty pricey but forgivable for good food. Unfortunately this food was not good. Will not be ordering again and cannot recommend this place to anyone. Very poor quality and overpriced food. Go elsewhere.
