Barbe Q - Hambleton

During our short break in Crayke, we visited York's Christmas Market and parked in Easingwold before taking a bus. When we returned, we decided to grab a pizza from Barbe Q for our early dinner. It was incredibly delicious. We ordered two 10-inch pizzas with our preferred toppings, as well as a side of wedges. We quickly popped into The Angel for a drink while we waited, and picked up our order within half an hour. The service was excellent and the food was of very good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you.

I wanted a quick chicken burger and fries for dinner one evening. The chicken burger was a pre-made chicken fillet burger that you can find in any supermarket, and there was no option to purchase burger sauce for the fries. All of our local kebab shops have fresh chicken fillets as a standard, so maybe we have been spoiled. I was a bit disappointed.

Your menu states 1 price but charging far more check your change . Have nonsense on there menu stating they can charge you an extra 20 percent... no sorry you can not . You are overcharging your over charged already poor customers. Try the new kebab shop its miles better. You need shutting down.

I ordered a takeaway Doner Kebab with salad and sauces tonight, and it was a huge disappointment. I have tried kebabs from many different takeaways over the years, but this one was not worth the £10 I paid for it. The meat was undercooked and lacking in flavor, the garlic yogurt seemed store-bought and in need of an upgrade. The salad was tasteless and slimy, and the pita bread was cold and unappetizing. The only saving grace was the chili sauce, but it wasn't enough to make up for the overall low quality of the meal. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, as I would rather go hungry or donate my money to charity than waste it on such a subpar meal.

Service is always so friendly and professional, pizza is amazing, quick, been here many times and always came away perfectly happy.
