Went to this shop on Friday evening, not mad busy, I ordered plaice and chips and was told by the young girl who served me it would be a few minutes. Half an hour later after watching many orders being completed, still no food.I called to the young girl who took my order, she looked at me then turned to serve another customer. I walked out and wont be walking back in...EVER.
Went to Pauls chippy one Monday evening the food was average I got the salt and pepper chicken noodle box but there was only about 5 pieces of chicken in it.The order system needs to be sorted as well because I ordered my meal over the counter and people were coming in and ordering Chinese meals over the counter and getting served before me.
Empty shop but was told 20 minutes wait For doner meat as they had an order for 3 to do, took salt and pepper chips and they where horrible. Been going here since around 1988 and had many a good meal but lately it seems lacking in quality, shame really.
Great chippy that serves great fish and chips. Always busy but service is always quick. Would definitely recommend.
I'm a regular at pauls chippy and usually get one at the weekend for me and the family, it's always been the best chippy not just in widnes but probably in England, I've been going here for 30 years and it was the best when Paul originally owned it before he sadly passed away and still the best now with his son Sud taking the reigns , lovely staff and great service and very reasonably priced with good sized portions and tasty food.
