To be honest, we haven't eaten here yet, but we wanted to share our experience from tonight. While we were out trick-or-treating with our two children, we walked past the restaurant. A kind woman (I’m sorry, I didn’t catch her name) waved us in from the window and offered our kids lollipops and sweets. We attended last Friday night (karaoke was on) staff looked miserable, we didn't feel welcomed. The food wasn't great, rice wasn't cooked, lamb was over cooked, chicken was nice, salad was nice. I was surprised they decided to put a service charge on top of your bill, which sadly I asked to be taken off, wouldn't of minded paying it, if service was with a smile. The food is absolutely incredible—definitely the best in the area without a doubt. For delivery, the meal was superb. I had dinner, and the price per person was around £30 to £40. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.
We’ve been to The Shiish twice now and both times we’ve had a brilliant time. The service is warm and friendly, the prices are fair, and the food is superb and freshly cooked.
