I had a great experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and the restaurant itself was located in a charming little town. The service was excellent and I ordered the Haddock with scallions and rice pilaf on the side for dinner.
If you're looking for a lovely outdoor dining experience in Hallowell, Joyce's is the perfect spot. They have a wonderful shaded deck with a view of the Kennebec River. As a local resident, I often enjoy dining here...
I visited Joyce's for the first time and I'm not sure why I waited so long. I initially thought it seemed too formal, but was pleasantly surprised by the relaxed outdoor seating with a fantastic view.
