Icebox Cafe - Hallandale Beach

Cool vibe, nice ambience, good food. This place is off the beaten path but worth going out of the way to find it. It's the complete package with a great indoor and outdoor space. They serve great tasting healthy dishes without the pretentiousness. You can also get a hamburger and fries without judgment. They have live entertainment several nights a week... like, real musicians that play music LIVE! So far I've only done lunch but I'm planning too eat my way thru themenu and check out the music on future visits.

It was so nice, I've been here twice! One for brunch and on another occasion for lunch. Food is delicious, service is okay. Ambiance is spectacular. Love the greenhouse!! They have live music for brunch which was very good. Also, love the fact that happy hour is everyday and all day! Another added incentive to dining here.

I attended a family members wedding at the Icebox Cafe in June 2022. The ceremony was held in the beautiful greenhouse and the reception lunch was held in the dining room. It was a great location as there was some bad weather that day. While this wedding had ~30 attendees, I think the space was big enough for double. The General Manager, Brett, was super helpful with all of our questions and made everything very easy for us. The serving and bar staff did a great jobkeeping up with 30 people sitting down all at once and everyone in my group said their food was amazing burgers, steaks, tacos, salmon, and more. I'd definitely recommend visiting the Icebox Cafe for a drink and meal.

We drove up from Cutler Bay just for this restaurant. The food, atmosphere and staff are totally worth the drive. We came up for brunch for the first time and tried 4 different items. The breakfast burger is huge and delicious. Especially if you like latkes and don't want to make them yourself. The French toast is amazing especially if you like guava. The Eggs Benedict are savory and the bacon is very thick and flavorful. The pancake is great but not what a tradional pancakeis. It's more like a skillet lemon cornbread with ricotta. The cafe has a very relaxed atmosphere. There are three different areas to choose from; inside, outside patio and a greenhouse. Brett (the manager) makes you welcome, like you areold friends. We have had several different servers and all were very attentive. Today, we had Julie as our server and she was very sweet and on point. If we lived closer we would be here more often. I highly recommend trying everything...especially the desert.

What a hidden gem! The ambience is 10/10, tons of greenery and plenty of seating, aesthetic is eclectic chic. The manager and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Weekend brunch is 11-4 and very worth it, live music acts during those hours too. Thursday nights are drag nights and I?ll definitely be back! Food was delicious and well presented.
