The restaurant experience at this place can be inconsistent, but the staff are always friendly which helps to balance it out. However, when requesting extra butter, it would be better if they didn't serve a whole block of butter. I frequently visit this Tim Hortons on my way to the barn, especially on early mornings and cold days. While the menu is typical Tim Hortons fare, the staff here are always efficient and friendly whether you're in the drive-thru or inside the store. They don't bat an eye when I show up in riding gear and muddy boots, which is a big plus for me. On a side note, the Valu-mart in the same strip mall is the only place in Halifax where I've found Golden Graham cereal. Don't judge me when I buy six boxes at the cash register!
A few weeks ago, I visited this drive-thru restaurant located along Hammond Plains road. It is quick, efficient, and conveniently positioned next to a grocery store. The staff was friendly and we were served promptly.
I 'm not a Tim Horton 's fan. Some of the donuts are okay, although I 'm not the biggest donut fan (maybe that 's the problem... , but the other breakfast food I 've tried there has been no more than mediocre. The coffee is also bad (at least the cappuccino/latte style coffee it 's the kind that comes out of an automatic machine, where you barely have coffee taste and a very rough foam (hello? ever heard of microfoam?? . Not too different from the other coffee offerings in the region, but still disappointing.
