Stillwell Beergarden - Halifax

I wish there was a place like this in Montreal. It's a really cool spot with a great drink selection. We stopped by around 5 or 6pm on a Thursday and the atmosphere was already lively. The large tables and the cornhole game outside were nice touches. We tried the pickle and chips, which were delicious. I also recommend trying the sour beer options and the John Lemon seltzer, which was like a hard lemonade with a bitter twist - it was amazing. Some people near us ordered hotdogs, which looked and smelled fantastic (we tried to come back on Sunday for some, but found out the garden is closed on Sundays). The crowd was laid-back and friendly, making the ambiance really enjoyable.

I adore this restaurant, especially on a sunny day after strolling through the public gardens. It's perfect for enjoying a pint and a snack. The beer selection is always interesting, with the options changing regularly. The menu isn't extensive, but everything is tasty. There are a couple of vegetarian choices available. I highly recommend trying the vegan hotdog if you enjoy spicy mustard.
