The staff at this restaurant have significant problems. There’s an elderly woman with white hair and glasses who behaved inappropriately with a young boy, and I’d rather not elaborate on that. Additionally, there was a transgender individual whose comments made me uncomfortable. When I chose to end the conversation, they accused me of stealing. So, as I mentioned, there are definitely issues here! The food is overpriced, and some items were damaged or expired. Be sure to keep your receipts—you’ll need them!
The cashier was quite rude. There weren't clear signs for newcomers indicating where to check out. I asked three different employees where the magazines were, and none of them knew, nor did they make any effort to help me find out. Overall, it was a terrible experience.
This is definitely the worst grocery store in the HRM. The staff are unhelpful, the inventory is inconsistent, and I’m baffled as to why Sobeys allows this to continue.
Nice clean store with free Wi-Fi
On a positive note, I truly appreciate the new BBQ and oven-ready vegetable options. It would be wonderful to see a greater variety of vegetables and fruits available. Incorporating seasonal produce like peaches, kiwis, apricots, eggplants, and zucchini would significantly improve your selection. Thank you!

If you're craving a Lobster Sandwich or roll, Sobeys on Wyse Road is the top choice. My family and I recently relocated to Nova Scotia and have been busy setting up our new home. With little time for lunch, we relied on grabbing a quick lobster sandwich at Sobeys. Of all the locations we visited, Wyse Road has stood out as the best. The staff is also fantastic.
Great choice. Friendly staff. Stocked shelves. Great meats. Great pre made offerings. I just so much enjoy taking my time and browsing the isles.
I really enjoyed my Hawaiian poke with marinated salmon, chopped cucumber, seaweed salad on a bed of Sushi rice. The friendly lady made it for me in seven minutes, gave me some chopsticks and I ate it in the dining area by the front of...the store. I am so glad that this store is a grocerant. I like poke a lot and I was so happy to find it on the menu at Clayton Park Sobeys.
Well done Sobey's! The renovation was spectacular. Great store to shop in now. Staff are excellent and helpful. Would definite recommend to everyone. Bright, clean, wide aisles.
There is an oriental snack bar at this Sobeys where Asian meals are cooked to order, right in front of you. You can dine in if you like, in a nice room with tables and high stools and plenty of natural light. They even have...wifi in this Sobeys, which is great. Today I looked the revolving Asian menu over and ordered the Japanese vegetable curry. The chef was so nice, asking me all the different choices connected to this dish. It was ready quickly and I took it over to the dining room and dug in. It was definitely delish! It was perfectly hot hot enough temperaturewise and tastewise. There was a nice contrast between the fluffy white rice and curried vegetables. I liked the addition of black and white sesame seeds on the rice plus chopped green onion and sliced Japanese ginger. Plenty to eat and at a reasonable price of plus tax. It was really very good and I will definitely order it again!
