Each time we visi... read more We thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic selection of fine products offered at this restaurant, but unfortunately, the customer service fell short. Each time we visited, we were greeted poorly and didn’t feel welcomed—there were no hellos or goodbyes, and we felt rushed even though we were the only customers. We continued to return because the products are excellent, but we can’t say we truly enjoyed our experience.

Although the setting was nice and the offerings were appealing, the staff member was unexpectedly unfriendly when I asked for recommendations, despite the fact that we were the only customers there at the time. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere, and we do not plan to return.

I had... read more A true hidden gem in Halifax. There is a cool food counter in the back of the shop that opens only Thursday to Sat serving the most delicious sandwiches. I had the beef brisket and it was made with such care and precision. It was also a bonus to watch it being prepared in front of you like an omikase sir sandwiches. Highly recommended especially for travellers that are tired of the same items in the many tourist traps all over.
