Staying at a stuffy hotel close by, this was a welcome change - yes, it's basic, but unpretentious, friendly and they serve honest food at even honester price. Classic bacon and eggs, and the homefries are as good as other reviewers have commented. Great breakfast and great value. View all feedback.

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while now and I'm so glad I finally did today! For lunch, I ordered the chicken platter, which was delicious.

To start, I was a big fan of this restaurant when they were located in Scotia Square's food court. Unfortunately, they were not included in the recent update to the space.
Visited Halifax recently & had breakfast every morning at this quaint mom & pop diner. Excellent breakfast - excellent value. It's certainly where all the locals go & I can understand why. Great find.
The most reasonably priced restaurant in Halifax. Served a good breakfast for under $10.00 which is a rarity.
