Odell's Gluten Free Bakery - Halifax

Large selection of gluten-free baked goods with clearly labeled vegan products. I found the sweets somewhat overly sweet for my taste, but it is a good option, especially if they are gf.

This place marks vegan items with a small green sticker. when I was in them, they had cupcakes, brownies, zimtbunken, banana chocolate chip muffins, raspberry place, datum and cookies. because it is gluten-free and vegan, the items can be a little pricier. I assume that this is because it is the best gf flour though. everything tastes amazing and I wouldn't know it was gf. I had no idea that they could not give a space of five stars unless it was full of vegan/vegetarian.

I finally went to o’dells today. I originally met her vegfest in the first year when I had an amazing gluten-free and vegan cinnamon roll. the caffe is not huge, but it is a beautiful small space. I'm just thrilled by how many vegan tasty they offer in their bakery. the caffe does not offer too much, but it is worth a trip only for the baked items. the gentleman on the theke was very knowledgeable when I asked him what was available for vegans and showed very easy what was and was not vegan. I have a few small tasty bites to bring home with me, a raspberry place and 2 nanaimo bars that were delicious! my only complaining is, it is a little expensive, but I understand that it will increase gluten-free and better ingredients to the price. If I'm ever in the neighbourhood, I'll be back in any case.

SO, SO happy to find a (delicious!! gluten free bakery but also a cafe and a pub annnnd one that uses tech (qr code ordering . What a great spot to grab a delicious bite and beer or latte!

Heatd bad reviews about this place. Unfriendly staff and no prices posted. Will not be recommending this bakery to friends or frequenting it.Poor business attitude.
