Do not be fooled by the location of this restaurant. It is probably the best priced breakfast you'll get around the city. Sure, you could go to a chain restaurant and get something artery clogging for cheap. Or you could go to Nena's and get a delicious, edible meal! Absolutely TERRIBLE service!! Ordered through UberEats and did not receive everything I paid for. When I called, the owner said they WERE NOT going to send me the rest of my order, and that they would give me a credit for next time. There WON 'T be a next time because of this!! My best friends and I go to brunch every weekend. We've gone to Nena's several times now and everything I've tried on their menu has been delicious. One of my favorite brunch meals is Eggs Benedict, and I've tried it in a lot of restaurants (in Halifax, Dartmouth, and Montreal) I tried theirs today. Well....it was the BEST I've ever eaten the eggs were a perfect medium, the bacon cooked perfectly (I don't like ham), and the sauce....the sauce was perfectly creamy and flavorful. They serve homefries with it and they were delicious, too (and I am NOT a fan of fries)....and they have great coffee, too. Do yourself a favor and give Nena's a try.
The food was absolutely amazing! I got the breakfast wrap with sausage and it was so delicious. The fries were really great too and I’m pretty particular with my fries but I really liked how well seasoned they were. will definitely be back for sure. Great quality food at a reasonable price definitely worth checking out

It was 515am and I checked the website for the hours. It said open at 6am so I hopped in the shower and after I made my way to Nenas. I got there at 7am. It was closed. Oh so the website is wrong, not unusual yet still aggravating. BUT THERE'S MORE!! Yes, 7am, closed. But the sign on the door says open at 7am. It is now 715am and you are late. No accountability.
Delightful little restaurant in a small strip mall. On first impression one can see debris outside, it does take a lot of effort to pick up any garbage that is strewn in front of your establishment or for that matter wiping thecwindows and doors first thing in the morning. This is your calling card. Pride costs nothing. Regarding the food. I am not a fan of deep fried sausage, my server asked the chef if he would cook mine on the grill and he graciously did. The only critique I have is the food is heaped and I was served french fries instead of breakfast home fries. My friend ordered a breakfast with eggs and waffles. The eggs were placed on top of the waffles...yuck. Waffles should arrive on a separate plate. It was just so unexpected to see this presentation. I suggest the owner invests in some large oval plates not the small dinner plates they are presently using. That aside, restaurant is clean and staff are just lovely. So...bottom line, tidy the outside and the windows, don't heap food, home fries for breakfast not french fries and please don't deep fry sausage, they can be pre cooked in an oven and then heated on a grill that keeps them from drying out. Nice staff.
