Moxie's Grill & Bar - Halifax

I actually had a really great experience at this locationMike and I went for lunch on a Saturday, and it was pleasantly not busy on the lounge side.

Made a reservation but still got seated by the entrance.

Came in here with the family and the food was delicious but the service was notWe got the mushrooms and sirloin as well as the beef vindaloo.

The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. The new vegan items are tasty with a variety of delicious flavors. However, I feel that the portion sizes are quite small for the price. I ordered the vegan tofu salad, which came with crispy tofu (approximately 7-8 small cubes), cashews, ginger, sesame, crispy wontons, fresh vegetables, spicy vegan mayo dressing. The dish cost $20, which I believe is not worth it for the portion size.

Had a great time at Moxie's tonight. We were a large group celebrating a dear friend's birthday. The waitress serving us was superb. Thanks for making for a great evening.My husband and I shared the potstickers, followed by the red Thai curry and the pulled chicken tacos with salad. Both were delicious.Will visit again for sure!!
