Legends Bar - Halifax
Legends Bar
Description
Legends, located at Halifax airport, offers a mixed bag of reviews from patrons. While some find the food subpar, ranging from cold fries to oily fish, others rave about fresh, quality offerings like the lobster roll. A common theme is the quick and efficient service, making it a solid choice for a meal during a layover. The selection of beer is appreciated, alongside popular menu items like the chowder and fish tacos. Although there are limitations for gluten-free diners, overall, Legends seems to be a reliable option for those traveling through the airport.
Feedback
The service here could not have been worse. The grey haired guy with the pony tail is hideously rude. He could not have possible been meaner or less helpful. Would love to review the food, but his ego and lack of service for 35 minutes didn't bother to take our order. Avoid. There are other places you can grab a quick bite.
Halifax airport does not have a lot of options for lunch, but Legends is certainly a good choice. We each had a Cobb salad. Freshly prepared with fresh, crisp vegetables. The only problem with this outlet is lack of choice for folks who must be gluten free. Great service.
A great airside meal choice. The lobster roll is my favourite. A generous serving of lobster meat, very lightly dressed, with a favourable filling:bun ratio. Great service and close to the departure gates. Get to the airport early, clear security, and await your departure here.
My son ordered fish and waffle fries at the restaurant. He mentioned that the fish tasted okay but was quite oily. The waffle fries were cold and difficult to chew.
