Description

Legends, located at Halifax airport, offers a mixed bag of reviews from patrons. While some find the food subpar, ranging from cold fries to oily fish, others rave about fresh, quality offerings like the lobster roll. A common theme is the quick and efficient service, making it a solid choice for a meal during a layover. The selection of beer is appreciated, alongside popular menu items like the chowder and fish tacos. Although there are limitations for gluten-free diners, overall, Legends seems to be a reliable option for those traveling through the airport.

A great airside meal choice. The lobster roll is my favourite. A generous serving of lobster meat, very lightly dressed, with a favourable filling:bun ratio. Great service and close to the departure gates. Get to the airport early, clear security, and await your departure here.

5 hour stopover at Halifax airport - hadn't eaten all day - waited a few minutes for a table as the place was packed but team were very attentive and communicative - ended up getting a nice table. Broad drinks selection, beer clearly well maintained - ordered fish cakes and wings but fish cakes were not available - team member recommended the fish tacos and they were to die for. Great quality freshly prepared food and friendly service - what more can you ask for from an airport bar!

I travel through Halifax regularly, and there are few occasions when I do not have a lay-over long enough to have a meal or a beer. They have a nice selection of beer, the prices are reasonable, by airport standards, and the food is quite good. The chowder and the plowman's lunch are my favorites. The food and drink comes quickly, as should be the norm in an airport. Best of all, however is the service. Mature, efficient, engaging, and personable staff make every visit a pleasure. I cannot say enough about them. They are wonderful.

My son ordered fish and waffle fries at the restaurant. He mentioned that the fish tasted okay but was quite oily. The waffle fries were cold and difficult to chew.

I give four stars to the fish in the fish and chips dish for its fresh and tasty haddock that came with the chips.
