I have passed by this place many times since I live in the area and had decided today to look at what they sell here to compare to the other store nearby. I wen... read more I have passed by this place many times since I live in the area and had decided today to look at what they sell here to compare to the other store nearby. I went inside to look at what they offer and noticed they sold pizza as well for what seemed to be a cheap price. My friend had bought pizza here before and I wanted to double check that this was the correct store so I took a picture of the menu to ask her if it was the right one and the elderly lady who worked there decided she had a problem with me and confronted me for 'standing around looking ' (at the items) and 'taking pictures ' (of the menu to confirm this was the right store). She did not accept that my friend had ordered pizza from this store before and I must have been up to something terrible and suspicious for some reason. I have honestly never met someone so immediately hostile before and I 'm so confused as to why she did not seem to want me there. I am not sure if she was not fond of my race (I am black) because she definitely did not treat the multiple white customers the same way, or if I had actually done something to offend her, but I honestly just left straight away since she very clearly did not want me there. That type of dislike gives off a certain vibe and I was for sure feeling it. Not sure what to say other than this being an incredibly bizarre and possibly discriminatory place. It is a shame since I was hoping to purchase from here in the future, but not much to be done when they make it so obvious you are not welcome in the store and yell at you. This occurred at approximately 5pm, Jan 29th, with around 4 other customers in the shop.
