Always a welcoming place! Friendly staff, lots of drinks, delicious food, quality lunch specials, and a good stock of non-beer and non-alcoholic options for those who stay away from such things. I have never had a bad meal here! Go there already, go!
Our city is so blessed to have HopYard. The staff make everyone feel right at home. Jess and Meredith tend to be the main girls on Mondays, I can't say enough how kindhearted supportive they are to all the open mic players!
First night in Halifax and walking by the HopYard decided to give it a try. Came on a quiet a Taco Tuesday night and had the wings and the crispy chicken and featured braised beef tacos. All of the food was excellent with a lovely coleslaw garnishingthe wings. Service was friendly and excellent. Got a few recommendations for things to do and places to go which wasappreciated.
Greatly enjoyed the trivia event hosted at the HopYard. Reasonably priced drinks and appetizers, friendly servers, and a good atmosphere. There are a lot of appetizers to choose from, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. No set parking areabut there are street parking all around the neighbourhood. Accessible and LGBTQ+ friendly.
