I can honestly say I've never had Chinese food thi... read more My girlfriend introduced me to her favorite Chinese restaurant 5 years ago when we were visiting Nova Scotia. I can honestly say I've never had Chinese food this good before. Very different from the typical combo plates I was used to. I loved everything I tried but surprisingly I enjoyed the Ginger Squid and the Salt and Pepper squid the most. I've hated every calamari dish I've tried so I have to admit I was kind of surprised! I also love their Sweet Sour Chicken (not balls -more like homemade) and the Shanghai noodles. I also love the Curry Beef Pastries which again surprised me because I dont like curry. Looking forward to our next visit!

The wontons had ze... read more Most expensive and disappointing Chinese food experience ever! I was super excited to try a new place and based on the reviews I chose Hongs. The wontons had zero meat in them visible to the naked eye, just deep fried shell. The sweet and sour sauce was just a horrible watery vinegar sauce. Vegetables were visibly old (yellow tops on the broccoli). Definitely won’t be eating here again. The only decent thing was the tiny weird shaped egg roll.
