Freeman's Bistro - Halifax

While touring the downtown we visited Freeman's...thinking it was the similar to Freeman's Little New York on Quinpool Rd..... but it had a completely different and more expensive menu.

The food was delivered cold and the server had an attitude - when I got her attention. Definitely a bar atmosphere. Service was very slow and impersonal.

The staff at Freeman's on Argyle was very accommodating when 11 of us showed up un-announced and starting pulling their tables together. The food was very good and we had a lovely time on our impromptu dinner out on the tux fitting night.

Group of nine went without reservations and we were able to get seats. We all had different meals which included pizza, burgers, fish and chips, garlic fingers and everything was delicious

First visit to Halifax. Got in late due to weather. Bar tender at the Prince George recommended this place for the pizza. The place was pretty deserted at 9.00 p.m.. We ordered pizza and it was really good. The waitress was cashing out and asked if we wanted to do the same now or later. We opted for later. That was a mistake I literally had to call someone over to our table to close our tab. Our old waitress was sitting at the bar and the other staff were all around laughing it up. I'm all for a little fun at work but not at the expense of the customers. Wouldn't go back.
