The menu was desig... read more From the outside, this was not what I was expecting as the exterior was rather "office" like and dull but the food choices were anything but. The menu was designed to be shared. The various dishes were posted on chalkboard (we were told there was a basic selection and then the others changed as local ingredients came in or went out of season). The portions were just enough. We had flank steak with fresh mozza, deviled egg with smoked trout, fiddleheads with a cream sauce, and pork carnita tacos. The egg and trout was delicious. The fiddleheads were wonderfully fresh and the cream sauce required an order of the outstanding house sourdough to soak up every drop. The steak we found undercooked and cold and the tacos were average. Presentation was great for all. Service was first rate. Would definitely go back.

Food was yummy and... read more As a big city person, I was worried about my food options, but stumbled upon this lovely restaurant. The decor was cool and servers friendly. Food was yummy and kept eating and eating...the drinks were excellent as well! I would totally recommend this. It's off the beaten Downtown path, but not really far. Perhaps a ten or fifteen minute walk from the hockey arena downtown or Citadel.
