Pleasant restaurant with many delicious food options. I found the moussaka to be moist and favourful. I enjoyed every bite. The Greek salad was okay, but I would have preferred a bit more dressing. The server was very pleasant. I was surprised that I had to go to the counter to pay, and I waited quite a while for someone to notice that I wanted to pay. I guess it's a sign of time. They seemed to be short-staffed.I was... What Annette Chisholm doesn't like about Ela! Greek Taverna:
Ordered the grilled lamb. I have never been served this way before. It was thinly sliced and in pieces 1.5 inches.Scant out of sauce. Lamb was burnt under neath. Dried out.2 of us got this dish and both were not edibleIt was replaced but still not good.We were not charged for our main but so disappointing. View all feedback.

The food was amazing! Our server Merceydez (that's how it was spelled on the receipt. I hope I got it right! was terrific! Great recommendations, great food knowledge, and she set that cheese on fire like she was a natural! Our one issue was the seating arrangements. The restaurant wasn't full, but I felt they packed us into one section of the restaurant, so much so that we were fully exposed to the entire conversation of the table behind us.It was annoying enough to intrude on our evening. Next time I'll ask for a table in a quieter area. Will definitely return!
Food was good lots on the menu to choose from. Service was very good. Found the Greek salad lacking in taste the dressing is very plain. It needs more flavour. Also could use more feta. Chicken souvlaki was moist and good. Will be back for sure.

They seemed to be short-staffed.I wasn't intending to purchase wine, and I was glad of that. I was shocked to see a 5-ounce glass of wine on the menu for $13.00. Alcohol prices have recently increased in Nova Scotia, but I think that price is high.I recommend ela! if you are in the mood for Greek food.
