Been meaning to try this place because the great reviews. Finally got here tonight and it was awesome.Takoyaki was warm and octopus-y with the bonito flakes and sauce giving just the right funk to everything. I had Unagi rolls and Dynamite which were great. But the star was the Double Mon roll. It's a shrimp and avocado roll wrapped in salmon, avocado cream and lemon zest. A little dip in soy makes it sing. Soooo goo... View all feedback.

If you’re looking for a small, cozy restaurant which makes you feel like you are in a little town of Japan, I highly recommend this restaurant.Cozy, family like atmosphere comes from the owner of the restaurant, which is a kind and friendly family.I tried Nagasaki champong, tofu, and takoyaki. All of them were very good, made with fresh ingredients. They make each dish like how they would serve it to their own family.I tasted some of the rolls that my friends got, and they were fresh and delicate as well.This would be the kind of place where are you could just go by yourself and enjoy a home like meal, or go with your friends and have a good time.
Best sushi in Larry Uteck and arguably all of Halifax. Fresh, densely packed rolls with friendly service. 10/10
