We recreated this dis... read more Molasses Grill is by far our favorite restaurant anywhere in the world seriously. Fall is always my favorite for the sweet potato gnocchi. We recreated this dish at home one time so believe me when I say there is a lot of work that goes into this dish and it’s absolute heaven. Molasses goes out of their way to use local seasonal ingredients and it makes all the difference in every dish. They go above and beyond to prepare everything to order and to your own personal taste or health needs. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten intolerance, you name it, they can take care of it. If you call ahead they can even make sure to have desserts that work for you too. For that special occasion. They truly make sure your dinner is a great experience. I was over excited for fall and asked if they could make a cocktail called the Persephone that they normally don’t have until October our waiter Christina went out of her way to find the ingredients and have the bartender make it for me. They literally brought me the future when she could have easily told me to cool my fall loving jets and wait for next month. Dietary restrictions: Everything is made to order and all staff are experienced with all dietary and allergy needs. I have eaten with vegan friends and friends with alpha gal here. They are great at working on the fly to accommodate you but if you call ahead they can make sure to have anything you need/want including a dessert option that works for you.

A gentleman walked in eatery and sat next to me and the owner 's daughter spoke and immediately asked him "what do you want toeat or what would you like to drink. Meanwhile, I had been sitting there for about 15-20 minutes never asked may I help you. Ithought that this was America and we all have the same rights but at this eatery I found out and was showed to me that we arenot they only catered to certain people and to my knowledge everyone is equal and everyone should be treated the same. I askedthe bartender when can I order because a person came in after me and got instant service and had no reservation. My money isstill green and spends everywhere else.

We had the grilled and baked oyster... read more I was visiting my friend who brought me to Molasses and it is the cutest restaurant, with the best food, staff, and service! We had the grilled and baked oysters, both of which were delicious, but we both said we liked the baked better with the meltedcheese and wilted greens. We also enjoyed a couple dirty martinis and the bartender even stuffed some olives with blue cheesefor us. We shared the twin lobster tails, with broccolini mac and cheese and left nothing...the whole meal was wonderful. Wewill definitely be back on future visits to VA thanks to the amazing staff for such a lovely experience!
