After being stuck at home for most o... read more On the other side of the Connecticut River, I discovered that the Stop & Shop in Cape Cod has a selection of frozen pizzas. After being stuck at home for most of the pandemic, it was a pleasant surprise to find the real deal when I stopped by this weekend. The pizza was fantastic, and the entire staff was friendly and helped me cook the frozen pizza properly. We'll definitely be back!

Plus, the meatballs are impressively large! A great tip is to ask for the sub of the day for just $7. They also have a freezer stocked with their frozen pizzas for $5. Definitely support this local gem!

However, the team went above and beyond to resolve the issue! Within minutes, the manager called back to apologize. I was very impressed by the service, and the food was excellent as well! Overall, I am definitely a returning customer.

The only thing that bends me is that they do not cut the sandwiches in half for you, so you either have to eat at home or you have to bring a knife when you have a car side picnic. Otherwise great food, great staff, very covided safe.
