Pizza Pie - Half Moon Bay

I rarely write bad reviews because I don't want to affect a business negatively. However, this place ruined my anniversary dinner. We could have eaten anywhere to celebrate our 14 years together, but chose this place because of the good reviews. I hate to say this, but this was by far the worst thing we have ever eaten. EVER! It was inedible. Worse than the county hospitals food where I used to work. The crust tasted like rotten burnt oil. The crust texture was like an old stale ciabatta bun. It was hard to bite and pull off a piece with our teeth. The sauce made my wife gag. The cheese tasted dirty like it sat somewhere for days and collected dust. We couldn't even eat it. We tried taking a second bite to give it another chance, but had to spit it in the sink. We got a brownie and cookie too and they tasted like they didn't use flour. They were grainy and crumbled to tiny pieces when you picked them up. We Door dashed our food and it cost over $85.00 for one pizza, one cookie and one brownie. It was the perfect week long anniversary celebration, minus this horrible pizza experience.

This hole-in-the-wall is a gem!! $4 pizza slice can't be beat. I've driven past here multiple times and wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for yelp. They have cute indoor and outdoor seating and a huge selection of pizza, desserts, drinks and wine to choose from. The hen of the woods was the best pizza I've had in a while!! The cheese was a good classic, and personally thought the chicken pesto was too dry for my liking. The lamb I didn't try but my brother liked it. Overall, this place has delicious pizza and I will be coming back. IG: Smackinfood

Yummy! Great place to stop by and grab a quick bite after going to half moon bay beaches. Been here twice and liked everything I tried. The square pizzas are pre-made and displayed but they warm it up after you order. Would definitely come back here to try more items. I checked their online menu and I can't find the items I had but I do remember some of the pizzas were seasonal ones. My favorite pizza with a strong mushroom flavor is the Hen of the Woods pizza $4) and also really enjoyed the Meatball Parm Sandwich $12). Don't forget to order some dessert pie too before you leave. Chocolate and key lime were super delicious.

Very slow service and dishonest pricing. If the sign says the lunch special is $10, you cannot charge $12. The staff said it’s a recent change that the lunch special is $12 after a certain time, but that’s not on the sign.Posting one price and charging another is illegal and dishonest. Either add the times to the sign or charge the price advertised.

I’m here visiting my brother from Utah and me and my little boy came here. And by FAR are they the sweetest people I have come by here. I wish I would have got their names but they worked 3/3 and 2:30pm. Seriously thank you for being so kind!!Kid-friendliness: She loved my sons spider man jacket lol
