Hands down best Mediterranean spot in Burlingame. The combo plate was so yummy- the salad tastes so refreshing with the delicious rice and meats. The chicken is the juiciest I've ever had at a restaurant! We also got the falafel plate- the baba ganoush here isn't my favorite but the hummus, falafel were both 10/10. Salads looked delicious- will have to come back for it next time!Lovely indoor and outdoor seat, with h... View all feedback.
What Patrick L doesn't like about Mediterranean Kitchen:
This place served the absolute worst gyro sandwich I have ever eaten. I gave up on it after a couple of bites. The veggies were fresh but the beef and lamb gyros meat was dry and chewy. I was sorely disappointed given how highly everyone o line has rated this place. I'm hoping it was just an off day for the kitchen, but I will never come back it was definitely not worth the $16 for the wrap. View all feedback.
This place was well worth the 80 minute drive! I'll be back soon. The staff here is simply incredible! Not everyone speaks English, but they were super helpful from the servers, the cashier, and even the management. Moreover, I took the advice of thestaff and tried the combo plate and it was the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. The pita bread was magical and the hummuswas silk. My friend was skeptical of the hummus bowl and was pleasantly delighted. This place is individual order by app orcashier with servers delivering food which is okay for families and excellent for groups!
We ordered the combo gyro plate and the lamb beef gyro wrap. We were hopeful as this place had good reviews, but unfortunately the meats were dry. The hummus with the combo plate was decent, but nothing special. My partner preferred the Mediterranean Kabob restaurant. The dining area was clean, although the floors were a bit sticky. Outdoor seating was available with heat lamps and a large TV. The staff only checked on us once, right after serving our food, and did not return until we had finished. Our water was not refilled. The restaurant was not very busy, with more takeout orders than dine-in customers. Due to the dry meat, I would not recommend this place and would not return myself.
Went here for lunch and had an amazing experience. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive. The appetizer combo platter was delicious, but should come with more pita bread. You can ask for more though. We ordered a wrap, salad, and entree comboplate. Each was a very generous portion. Prices were great for the Bay Area. Everything made fresh. A+
I drive all the way from San Jose to Burlingame just to dine at this restaurant! That's how amazing the food is. The interior is modern and lovely. The staff, two kind Turkish individuals, always engage in friendly conversations with me. The food and service are top-notch. I recommend trying the Ayran, a refreshing salty yogurt drink, as a beverage option.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. The hummus is amazing, and the fatoush salad dressing is the best I have ever had. It always comes with pita bread too, which is a nice touch. The rice is also very tasty. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. We typically order a variety of dishes and share them family-style. I always enjoy ordering from this restaurant!
