I ate with my girlfriend on July 4th. I had braided ribs and my girlfriend had the braided pork shoulder. Both were very excellent. The view of the Pacific was just incredible. Navio's service was also excellent. I would really recommend going to Ritz and spending a relaxing afternoon and then going to Navio for dinner. View all feedback.

Over the years had visited this hotel for meetings, special lunches and dinners. Today I pulled in only to find that the garage (where I had always parked before) was off limits and car had to be handled by the valet for $50! We went into the hotel and decided (because of weather) not to eat outdoors on the terrace. So we booked a lunch in the dining room. Subsequently we looked at the menu. The prices were obscene.... We walked in spontaneously and experienced an excellent and very warm welcoming service. The food was great and we finally got a very good table. The location is stunning with a view to the ocean.Service: 5/5
Nice escape from the valley heat to the fog with a 30° difference! There are nice walking paths in this area, but not much else to do except maybe chill, have a nice cocktail on The Terrace, read a book, experience the spa, and/or have a nice dinner at one of their restaurants overlooking the ocean. After walking around the property, we ended up dining at The Conservatory for a nice culinary experience. We had a table at the window overlooking the fog and what we could see of pelicans flying by. The service was impeccable, and the decor was very happy and inviting, but not stuffy. There were families who just returned from the pool to people dressing very casually to other people being dressed in more resort attire. We ordered the wagyu burger with duck fat cooked fries, beef cheek in a wine reduction with veggies, rack of lamb with roasted veggies, strawberry shortcake (in a jar), and a baked fruit crisp with the most amazing lavender honey ice cream. Everything was delicious, and we loved the ice cream so much that we ordered another single scoop on it's own!Good place to get away if you don't mind the long drive....note, there is a lot of traffic especially on the weekends, however, once you arrive and settle in, this property location is serene, beautiful and peaceful....even if you can't see passed the fog!!
The title says it all. Every employee at the ritz hmb was clearly committed to delivering an exceptional and memorable experience to my family including my two boys, ages 7 and 8. This trip reaffirmed my love for the ritz brand. Our expectations our super high due to the line of work I am in and my kids are lucky beneficiaries of our great travel experiences. We travel quite regularly as a family including many ritz brands and my 8 year old said this was the best and most beautiful family experience he has ever had. From the kindness and generosity of the staff with the bottles of wine and gifts in our room, to catering to my son’s special needs and sensory sensitivities, that alleviated a lot of stress on our part. Housekeeping did an outstanding job maintaining the cleanliness of our room and were super friendly. I am only mad at myself for not personally thanking the GM for the absolutely perfect family experience (too busy with the kids) we had and I hope he or she reads this review. We will definitely be returning and recommending strongly the Ritz HMB.

We went into the hotel and decided (because of weather) not to eat outdoors on the terrace. So we booked a lunch in the dining room. Subsequently we looked at the menu. The prices were obscene. We checked the dining room next door which was serving brunch at a price of $200 per person! We decided to leave and, thankfully, the cashier at the driveway waived the $50 charge. This hotel has a fancy name, but the location is NOT Beverly Hills. Oh, the staff was pleasant, but ...
Charming hotel with a spa, golf course, and a couple of restaurants, located by the ocean. The rooms are clean and well maintained but a bit older (from the hotel staff I learned that there will be some renovation in winter 2023). I loved the patio with the fire pit just to relax, breathe some ocean air, and enjoy in room dining (which was delicious). The staff members are attentive and friendly. The spa has limited availability if you’re booking last minute but the services are good. The hotel provided some bath salts as a welcome gift for my Marriott Bonvoy Gold membership but each time I stayed, my room was upgraded and my checkout time was never extended to 2 pm (even during a mid-week, off-season stay when the hotel was not busy). In room dining options were pretty good and the food was tasty. Beautiful views from the hotel can be enjoyed on sunny days. However, there’s a frequent overcast, even during summer. The piper walking around the property in the evening playing music is quite special and a nice touch. Golf players and families coming here for the day seem to enjoy this place as well. Overall, I’d recommend this place and stay here again.
