I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The fish and chips were delicious, and the service was excellent. This is definitely the best place to get fish and chips in town. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Halesworth Fish Chip Shop:
The restaurant was greasy and stale. It was clear that the food had been refried multiple times throughout the day, possibly even longer. The chips were overcooked and dry, saturated with oil. What a fantastic real fish chip shop. our food was freshly prepared and was so good and so cheap. if they are in the halesworth area and are looking for fishing and chips, this place!
Traditional Fish and Chips how they should be. Fish tasted fresh and the chips were excellent
Very professional and pleasant staff to chat with. Lovely traditional shop and good prices. Medium was smaller than expected but actually plenty of food and I would order it again.
Great traditional fish and chips, best there is locally.
The food at this restaurant is greasy and taste stale. It is clear that the food has been refried multiple times throughout the day, and maybe even longer. The chips are burnt, dry, and dripping with grease from being refried so many times. The batter on the fish or sausages is dark brown and heavy with grease. The owners are often seen arguing with each other in front of customers, making for an uncomfortable dining experience. Overall, my experiences at this restaurant have always been negative. I only returned because one of my children enjoyed the nuggets and it was convenient when visiting the pub next door, which was always a great experience. It's a shame that the quality of the restaurant did not match up to the pub.
