Yubadon Naokichi - Hakone

Was a bit of a wait when I got there at 11am but was well-worth it. I got the set menu at 2300¥ and it was great having so many versions of beancurd! They also have a Chinese and English menu. Felt like a real local favorite.

Long queue but time is not that long simple menu easy to choose they have korean menu as well take a card which is good also highly recommend for vegan (need to check sauce though)

This is one of the best places for Yuba (tofu skin). The meal was absolutely delicious and loved cozy ambiance.

Soup is a little salty and overpowered the taste of yuba itself. Tofu was nothing to shout about. Very filling meal for ¥2,400 with a yuba red bean soup!

Got there right when it opened and I'm glad we did because this seems like a popular place with the locals, as seats filled up fast! Amazing tofu dishes and nice views of the river right next to the restaurant. I got the set meal and it was around ¥2300 which is about $16 US, so it's very cheap and fulfilling. It's walking distance from Hakone Yumoto station so it's definitely worth a venture!
