Yamaji - Hakone

Had dinner there as a family, so were able to order and try multiple dishes. The odayaku and Katsu don were great as well as the chicken and veggies soup (name? . I chose soba. Super friendly to forgeiners and locals alike.

Delicious katsudon and oyakodon. We preferred the katsudon more. Good service. Only open for two hours for dinner service. A bit more expensive than in other towns, but still affordable. Paying a premium at this resort town is to be expected.

Amazing local food if you are staying at Gora for Hakone trip. Tonkatsu with egg, and noodle soups were amazing. Oden entre was pretty great too. Staff are friendly and accommodating for English speaking customers.

The staff were so kind and the food was delicious we arrived just before they opened for dinner and were seated immediately they offer an English menu and the staff speak English if needed. I ordered the oyakodon set and draft beer which I got quickly. The waitress was very friendly and kind. They accept cash, card, and some forms of QR pay (not rakuten pay, but PayPay is okay).
