Manjuya Nanohana - Hakone

The sweetest people sell delicious passion fruit ice cream.

We visited this restaurant on two separate occasions. The first time, we tried their vegan sweets called Hakone-no-otsukisama. The second time, we had kakigori on a hot afternoon, which was served with matcha or kuromitsu and kinako. We highly recommend this place.

I purchased a box of 6 Hakone no Otsukisama for around 750¥. The staff appeared to be well-informed about the ingredients used in them. Although there were other options available that I didn't get a chance to sample, I found the otsukisama to not be my personal favorite due to their sugary taste, which I'm not used to. However, they were nicely packaged and would have made a great gift for friends and family.

We visited this restaurant twice. The first time was to purchase their vegan candies (Hakone-no-otsukisama), and the second time was to enjoy kakigori on a hot afternoon. The kakigori was served with either Matcha or kuromitsu and kinako. I highly recommend this place.
