Raevyn's has a great atmosphere. It is family owned they make you feel like part of their family. The food is amazing, with large portions and the freshest produce in town! I normally never order salads at restaurants because it is always a letdown, but not here! Their salads are huge, fresh works of art! I've never ordered anything here that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Always order the fresh jalepeno poppers! And if... View all feedback.
What Sarah E doesn't like about Raevyn's Cafe:
Hands down the absolute worst burrito I've ever had, and burritos are my fav food so I've had a lot. Canned black beans and white rice. Zero taste!! Only Mitch McConnell would call this spicy. I still give it 3 stars b/c the staff was wonderful with spot on service, also the atmosphere was just what I needed. View all feedback.
Friendly, clean and deeelicious! You won't be hungry. My seven-year-old said: This place is definitely worth coming back! I really agree.
Fantastic food. Both adults and children can enjoy their food. Beautiful location and staff. Hopefully back soon.
Raevyns had generous portions and a unique take on Mexican cuisine. The avacado and chicken dish will be enough for two people, or a full lunch the next day.
Lots of fresh greens and veggies, excellent sauces, great ambience, great people, large portions, reliably delicious
My lovely bride and I arrived Haines late afternoon in November from Watson Lake. If you aren't aware, small towns in Southeast Alaska do not have much going once the summer traffic subsides. Hoping for something hot, we stopped in at the brewery for suggestions and a cold beer. Due to the time of day, we were denied the cold beer but told that we should hurry to Raevyn's Cafe since it was near closing time. On arrival, we found the place packed...not a seat to be had. We spoke with the waitress and were assured a space would open soon and she took our order, which included the cold, locally brewed beer. A short time later, I tasted the best steak tacos on the face of the planet! Molly had the pork verde, but with chicken, since the pork supply had been exhausted. Both dishes were superb! We highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself here anytime of the year. Nice work!!
