Reva Bar in Haifa was a complete disappointment for me and my group of friends, particularly for my girlfriend who has Celiac disease and cannot consume gluten in any way. When we asked the waitress about gluten-free options, her response was rude and dismissive, Just look at the menu. It was clear that they either had no gluten-free options or simply did not care about their customers with dietary restrictions. My girlfriend, who was left with no other options, had to settle for just French fries. To find a solution, we had to buy a gluten-free burger from a nearby burger bar to ensure that my girlfriend could eat something. But even this was not without issue. When my girlfriend was nearing the end of her meal, a male waiter approached us and rudely asked us to move away from the Reva Bar area, as it is against their policy for customers to eat other food in the area. We tried to explain to him the gravity of my girlfriend 's condition and that she had no other options, but he was unsympathetic and unwilling to make an exception. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. We were forced to move to another place to finish our meal, and it was a highly distressing experience for my girlfriend who was left feeling embarrassed and humiliated. It 's a shame that Reva Bar lacks empathy and understanding towards customers with special dietary needs like Celiac disease. It 's a stark reminder that the customer 's needs should always come first and that a little understanding and compassion can go a long way.
