I wish I had ordered them at my fi... read more I visited the Anchor Bar a few times, and I've never been disappointed. Today I tried the Black Mussels, and I was impressed. I wish I had ordered them at my first visit. The house sandwich has not disappointed, and I recommend it if you are very hungry.

We were there on a Thursday evening, 2 couples, atmosphere was excellent, good music(not too loud), menu is very short, not too many options but the ones that a... read more We were there on a Thursday evening, 2 couples, atmosphere was excellent, good music(not too loud), menu is very short, not too many options but the ones that are there on the menu are excellent, we had a hamburger(came with no fries), a salad, a roast beef and a Cuban sandwiches, all were delicious, good choices of draft beers
