we went about 20 miles away from ours to try this place, and it is now a part of every road we take in the opposite. the cook served us a free dish because he wanted to show us something that his vegan customers love, which is not yet on the menu. it was pronounced ‘sog’ perhaps ‘saag’. it was incredible. they were so nice and enthusiastic about their eating. extremely fast service. Maybe if enough vegans continue he... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mango Grill:
I went to Mango Grill all the time but now the food is flavorless. I tried this place a couple times under the new owner to give it a chance and it was consistently bland. The lunch buffet was very disappointing, everything other than the tandoori chicken needed salt or more flavor. I had to use the salt shaker on the table when I got my food and I never had to do that at Mango Grill until this new ownership. I miss... View all feedback.
It is a small space that allows a more attentive service. The selection is quite wide (although you really have a certain number of dishes that can be made with chicken, lamb, seafood, vegetarian... . More importantly, the food was really good, at least what my wife and I had. You can order your food in different degrees of spiciness (read: warmth, and you can bring the fire with Lassi (they have no alcohol license, but you can bring your own. You have a good selection of bread to accompany your meal. Probably the best way to eat here is to bring a small amount (like the 8 people sitting next to us, so you can order and share a greater variety of foods. If what you order is as good as the lamb vindaloo I ordered, you might not want to share.
I have a food allergy that can make food hard. But the person who took our order was incredibly helpful to help me find something I could eat and communicate in the kitchen to make all the necessary adjustments. I loved the food and appreciate the good customer service!
Delicious Indian buffet. Great price. Super friendly service.
The lunch buffet is fantastic? the food has great taste, is fresh and hot, and it is all very delicious. The lunch buffet is Tuesday-Thursday 11:30-2:30, Friday 11:30-3 and Saturday and Sunday 12-3. If you? not sure what to get, or like a variety, try the buffet!! The quality is comparable to a very chic Indian restaurant I? ve visited near BWI airport, but better then?s competitors in the Hagerstown area. I haven't tried to order the menu yet, but it will do very soon.
