Dining with friends on Saturday night of Valentines Day weekend. The food was fabulous and the service wonderful! We had an 8:00 reservation, were seated on time, and we were not rushed. Highly recommend this restaurant.
The meal started with a basket of sliced white bread that was supposed to be Italian, but it was quite stale—it had clearly been cut around 8 in the morning and had been sitting out all day. The main course was unremarkable; I can't even recall what I ordered, and it was less than a week ago. I do remember the mussels appetizer, as the sauce was quite good, but the mussels themselves were old and had a fishy taste. I probably won't be returning.
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Da Soli. The appetizer of spicy chicken sausages with crispy ricotta, cabbage, and balsamic reduction was fantastic. For our main courses, we ordered the Huhn Romano and Flounder Oreganato, and both were excellent. It was a lovely change from our usual Italian restaurant.
