Yesterday, three of us ate there for the first time. We received a very warm welcome, a free ouzo was served before we ordered, special requests were accommodated, and the food tasted delicious! We received very friendly service, and our preferences were frequently asked. Before we could pay, we were given dessert on the house! We will definitely be back...
A cute little, almost tiny restaurant! You feel like you're sitting in someone's living room. The food was amazing and the service was excellent, even though the place was packed and the owner was serving alone! Highly recommended!
The food could have been hotter, especially the gyro. I'm used to tzatziki differently, and I missed the cucumber. The fries, however, were very good. So, overall, OK, but not a highlight.
Unfortunately I have to agree with the last reviews. Things used to be better there. It's been a long time since we've eaten there again. Unfortunately, the food was nothing special at all. My breaded squid was cold, very dry and had the consistency of rubber. The rest of our food was okay, but not really outstanding. We also had the impression that there was a lack of staff. It was an older gentleman who served us, probably the owner, who seemed overwhelmed to me. While handing out drinks, he left a beer with us that was actually for the people next to us. At the end we got our bill, if you can legally call it that, added up on a scratchpad. Personally, I strongly doubt whether this will be recorded in a cash register later. If we hadn't followed up, all of our drinks would have been missing from the bill. I'm deliberately not naming names, but there are Greek restaurants in town where things are more structured and also taste better. In terms of style, the restaurant here is more reminiscent of a pub. Unfortunately not for us anymore, I'm sorry.
